In the Community

At SAVE, we believe educating the community about domestic violence is the first step towards eliminating violence. The more we know about domestic violence, the better prepared and empowered we will be if someone we love is experiencing abuse.

We are present in the community in the following ways:

  1. Open Doors is SAVE’s quarterly outreach and education luncheon. Anyone can join!
  2. Health and Community Fairs: We attend tabling events to talk to community members about domestic violence and SAVE’s services.
  3. Community Education: We offer presentations to any interested group (such as service clubs, school organizations, workplaces, and faith communities) about domestic violence, teen dating violence, and how SAVE makes a difference. We can present in English or Spanish.
