Youth Services

1 in 3 teens experience abuse by an intimate partner.

SAVE believes in preventing relationship abuse from happening in the first place. Whether through awareness campaigning or our Loves Me, Loves Me Not presentations, we address societal attitudes towards violence and facilitate discussion about the warning signs of abuse, the cycle of violence, and the foundation of a healthy relationship with youth. Learn more about our Loves Me, Loves Me Not presentations and our recent Stronger Than You Think campaign!

Every February (National Teen Dating Violence and Awareness Month) SAVE staff and Youth Program participants are busy with strategy meetings and advocacy work. We’re  proud to announce that since 2015, Youth Services Program (YSP) has been honored by cities for their Youth Empowerment Efforts with Proclamations recognizing our efforts to bring the issue of teen dating violence to the forefront in our communities.

Currently YSP serves in 33 schools, 15 Bay Area cities like Fremont, Newark, Union City, San Leandro, San Ramon, Hayward and many more.

We also want to share resources that you can use with the youth in your life. Included are in-person and online services to teen dating violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other human services.

We’ve even included our book and film recommendations, as well as information on local youth health centers. Make sure you download and post it where youth have access.
