SAVE has come a long way since its humble beginnings nearly five decades ago. The vision and determination of SAVE’s Founding Mothers paved the way for the organization to become a beacon of hope for individuals and families affected by intimate partner violence in Southern Alameda County. As we reflect on the challenges they encountered and the triumphs they achieved, we are reminded of the importance of their work. Their courage and resilience inspire us as we strive to uphold their mission and values.

Looking ahead, our Executive Director, Jennifer Dow Rowell, will shed light on the future of SAVE and the strategies we are implementing to better serve our community. In the face of evolving funding landscapes, we remain committed to our cause and are determined to adapt and thrive in the changing environment. Together, we stand united in our dedication to creating a world free from domestic violence, where all individuals can live safely and with dignity. The journey continues, and with each step we take, we honor the past, embrace the present, and shape the future of SAVE.
