Crisis Response Services

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.

If you have experienced intimate partner violence and you need support, call SAVE’s 24-hour Crisis Line at 510-794-6055. Trained advocates are available to help you day or night.

Walk-in services are available to IPV survivors Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm at our Empowerment Center. Advocates offer crisis support, safety planning, connection to resources, and a safe space to have a bite to eat, pick up some toiletries, and simply rest.

Setting an appointment with an advocate is not required, but is highly encouraged to ensure prompt, smooth service.

The Empowerment Center is located at 1900 Mowry Ave, Suite 201, Fremont, CA 94538. Appointments can be made by emailing [email protected] or calling 510-574-2250.

If you’re seeking information about or want help filing for a Temporary Restraining Order, SAVE advocates can explain the process and work with you to complete and file the necessary paperwork. SAVE advocates can NOT offer legal advice, but are here to help you navigate a process that can be intimidating and confusing. There is no court filing fee for restraining orders.

Subject to advocate availability, Court Accompaniment may be provided at the Hayward Hall of Justice (Alameda County Superior Court), 24405 Amador Street, Hayward, CA.

  • To request court accompaniment, call our 24-Hour Crisis Line at (510) 794-6055.
  • When available, a SAVE staff member or trained volunteer will accompany you to legal proceedings.
  • Our advocate will stay by your side and provide reassurance during your hearing.
  • SAVE advocates are not allowed to speak on your behalf or provide legal advice, but having a SAVE representative with you can help you feel confident, focused, and empowered.
