Saturday April 12 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM 43600 Mission Blvd. Fremont, 94539 United States SAVE is thrilled to present The Vagina Monologues in the Fremont community! We warmly invite you to the inaugural performances on the weekend of April 12 and 13 at Ohlone College. Bring your friends, colleagues, family, and everyone you know, as this is a play you won’t want to miss. This is more than just a monologue; it is a chance for you to take a stand against violence towards women and girls. By openly addressing female anatomy and sexuality, the play seeks to normalize discussions around these subjects and confront societal taboos. Additionally, the performance serves as a fundraiser for SAVE’s essential services that support survivors of intimate partner violence. Your support can truly impact the lives of those in need. The Vagina Monologues is a fictional collection of narratives inspired by over 200 interviews the playwright, Eve Ensler, conducted with women of various races and ages, focusing on their relationship with their bodies. Originally staged in 1996, it captivated more than 2,000 sold-out audiences. The play serves as a means to challenge taboos and initiate conversations. Since its debut, it has been performed in every U.S. state and in 130 countries worldwide. This remarkable initiative has generated over $85 million to combat domestic violence and rape. Every contribution helps sustain the free programs and services that survivors receive, including emergency hotel accommodations, shelter, transportation, rental assistance, housing costs, and other essential, life-saving services for crisis intervention. Your kindness enables us to maintain and enhance the highest level of care for our clients—each donation reflects the robust support network for our resilient survivor community. Become a Sponsor
